Texas Adjuster CE FAQ | Hours, Ethics, Live Credit, Deadlines | BLK LUMBRJCK
Texas CE FAQ Student Help Deadline Questions

Texas adjuster CE questions,
answered clearly.

This page is for Texas adjusters who want the common rules, timing points, and next steps in one place before buying the wrong class.

BLK can issue certificates and submit rosters. Transcript posting and renewal system timing still depend on the state.

How many hours?

Most current Texas adjuster renewals still need 24 total hours every two years.

How many ethics hours?

Most current renewal terms still require three ethics hours.

How many live hours?

At least half the hours still need to be classroom or classroom-equivalent for most current Texas licensees.

What usually matters most.

Hours

Total hours and ethics are not the same.

Adjusters often know they are short, but not whether the actual gap is total hours, ethics, or live hours.

  • Check the transcript before buying
  • Confirm whether ethics is still open
  • Confirm whether classroom-equivalent hours are still open
Timing

Provider speed and state posting are different.

BLK can handle certificates and roster submission quickly, but that is not the same as instant state posting.

  • Finish before your deadline
  • Allow time for state processing
  • Finish early whenever possible
Routing

The cleanest next step depends on the actual gap.

The right answer may be a one-hour class, ethics, a bigger block, emergency CE, or support.

  • Use 1-hour pages for small gaps
  • Use ethics if ethics is the missing piece
  • Use support if the transcript is unclear

Small gap

1-Credit Fill-In

Use this if only a small number of hours remain and ethics is already handled.

Ethics needed

3-Hour Ethics

Use this if ethics is the actual missing requirement.

More progress

6-Credit Block

Use this if you need more than a small top-off but not the full renewal path.

Heavy catch-up

Weekend Marathon

Use this if you need a heavier live-credit catch-up move.

Full renewal

24-Hour Bundle

Use this if you still need most or all of the renewal.

Deadline close

Emergency CE

Use this if the timeline is tight enough that the standard path is no longer the clean answer.

Questions adjusters ask most often.

How many hours do most Texas adjusters need?

Most current Texas adjuster renewals still need 24 total hours every two years.

How many ethics hours do most renewals need?

Three ethics hours for most current renewal terms.

Can self-study cover the full renewal?

Not if the classroom-equivalent floor is still open. Most current Texas licensees still need at least half their hours in classroom or classroom-equivalent delivery.

Will the transcript post instantly if I finish today?

No provider should promise that. BLK can issue the certificate and submit the roster. TDI transcript posting still varies.

What if my deadline is close?

Move to the emergency CE page instead of forcing a standard page to solve a rescue problem.

What if I am still not sure what I need?

Use support. That is the cleanest move if the transcript or requirement is still unclear.

24-hour baseline

Most current Texas adjuster renewals still sit on a 24-hour requirement.

3-hour ethics rule

Most current renewals still need three ethics hours.

Live-hour floor

At least half the hours still need classroom or classroom-equivalent delivery for most current licensees.

30-day provider window

Providers still have a reporting window after class. Finish early whenever possible.

Send the question that is blocking you clearly.

If you still do not know what to book, send the specific question instead of guessing from memory.
